BEST OF THE MONTH

My round up of the most entertaining stuff in June.

TV PROGRAMME OF THE MONTH
Well It's got to be Vic Reeves month on UKPlay! because we all love that loon don't we? You can catch Shooting Stars and all the Vic and Bob series (not Randell and Hopkirk though) and the new Vic Reeves Examines What! No Bob?

INTERNET SITE OF THE MONTH
The Official Reading Festival Site will keep you updated an who's playing what days, as well as having a very cool set of graphics and sound effects. You click on his pants! Aaah, endless hours of amusement!

MAN OF THE MONTH
Mark-Paul Gossitsomething. anyway, he was Zack in Saved by the Bell, remember? or is it just me? Anyway, he's in Dead Man on Campus with black hair looking rather nice. Took me ages to recognise him, possibly because Saved by the Bell was so crap I MADE myself forget all about it...

WOMAN OF THE MONTH
Well I thought it was about time you know! My first woman of the month is in fact four rolled into one, namely a little band called Kittie. Because they're making scary metal, an area usually taken up by men twice thier age. So there.

OBJECT OF THE MONTH
NOT having a mobile phone. Everyone has one now (I swear I saw a ten year old with one the other day), they fry your brain and make you look like a flashy twat. Why've I still got one? erm... for emergancies? Hypocryte? Me? Never...

FOOD OF THE WEEK
Squirty cream. Its fluffy and sweet and you can squirt it straight into your mouth. What more could you want? The low fat version evan tastes nice.

This months top ten
This months top ten is my all time favourite song's from my top ten artists. This took a bit of deciding i'll tell you!

1: Graham Coxon - A day is far too long. This is possibly the most beautiful, saddest song i've ever heard. Never fails wrench some heart strings.
2: Terrorvision - Oblivian. Dunno why but this seems to be quite a few people favourite terror's tune. Might be the infections silly chorus and the general bouncy, happy, smiley feeling to it though.
3: Gomez - Get Myself Arrested. The moment i heard this song i loved it. And usually this means you'll spent the rest of your life hating it, bt not this time. It's a song that just keeps on giving.
4: The Offspring - Self Esteem. Apart from being one of the the three 'story of my life lyrics' songs, this is my favourite Offspring song by far. It's big, it's loud, it goes 'na na'. See, It's great.
5: The Bluetones - Slight Return. This was my favourite song for years, because it is singly credited as being the one that made me get into music. You know the first ever song you stay in a shop so you can hear it? This is mine...
6: Blur - On Your Own. This song has many memories attatched of the best holiday of my life. you just want to sing a long, even though you can never make out the words. Oh and the guitars are great, naturally.
7: The Beatles - Only a Northan Song. George Harrison was the coolest Beatle, if only on the fact that he wrote this song. Which I think is just fantastic. You can't say fairer than that,. can you?
8: Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze. the first Jimi Hendrix song I ever heard, after finding it on a crappy cd of my dad's. I remember thinking "owch, this really hurts my ears, lets play it again..."
9: Elastica - Car Song. Even thought The menace was big pile of pooh, thier first album rocked. For me this track was the one i played over and over... And i'm, still not tired of it. Again, bouncy. What? I like bouncy
10: Supergrass - Mansize Rooster. They wrote the maddest song ever. Seriously. And we love them for it, because this is great.
Oh, so many more songs I wanna add! Any way, from now on each month there'll be a different theme top ten each month.
